I mainly work with service-based entrepreneurs (like coaches, travel advisors, photographers, website designers). I worked with a lot of different people but the one thing they all have in common is that they are driven, ambitious and committed to building the brand of their dreams. They hustle, grind, slay, and they are driven by real, true, authentic passion for what they do and why they do it. Sound like you? We’ll get on just fine.
You don’t seem like a normal copywriter…
That’s because I’m not! I think of myself as a hybrid mix of copywriter, consultant, strategist and coach. I firmly believe in clarity before copy AND I believe in the power of copy; I think it’s the cornerstone of your business and, as such, you can build you brand using your copy. I believe in giving 150%, and I am not about creating copy for you and bouncing. I want you to succeed beyond your wildest expectations, so expect me to be in it for the long haul and way past when the job is finished #businessbesties.
Can’t you just write me some copy for my webpage?
Nope, sorry! Listen, I do not do generic or BEIGE copy. Therefore, if you’re looking for some cut-and-paste copy that can be found on any number of business websites then go to Fiverr. My passion is creating zingy, punchy, custom, stand-out copy for driven entrepreneurs so they can build the brand of their dreams, and to do that we need to do some real work. Like anything in your business, you get what you put in.
Why do you insist on working together over 8 weeks? Isn’t that more like coaching?

But seriously, here’s a few reasons why I believe in working the way I do over the course of 8 weeks:
When you are writing copy for someone else’s business, communication is key. The best, most productive client relationships I have had is when we have had a real back and forth communication process.
If you want to have ‘copy that converts’ you NEED to have it speaking to the person you’re trying to reach. Otherwise it will not convert. Since this is the biggest reason why people seek out copywriters, it’s crucial to understand that you have to work from the ground up, i.e. from your client up. Not only does this take time, but it’s best if you have time and space to work through the questions and to really think about them. We want this to be AMAZING and amazing things need a little time, right?
The biggest block people have when hiring a copywriter is that they can’t imagine someone external being able to understand their business enough to be able to produce copy that really fits. They also worry about their brand or personal voice being lost if someone else produces the copy. That’s why, by working so closely together, your voice is in your copy, even if it’s me who gets the words and the ‘voice’ out of your head and onto the page. That’s my area of expertise; listening, understanding, thinking and then creating and strategising.
Remember, the goal here isn’t just to have copy created for your website. The goal is to clarify, create and then strategise so that you are set up for success and have what you need to start building the brand of your dreams, so we go ALL in. This sort of programme is for you if you are ready to go full steam ahead into building your brand, resonating with your clients and positioning yourself as the go-to in your niche.
The cherry on top is that by working like this you will really LEARN the steps you need to take and the questions you need to think about before writing copy and creating content for your social media strategy. This is so useful because your business is going to evolve and scale – you might niche down even more, you might change niches, you might bring in new services or products. You probably won’t want to re-hire a copywriter every time, and you definitely won’t want to risk having copy or a content strategy that isn’t speaking to this new niche or isn’t promoting your services in the best way, right? So by going through the process like this, you also learn skills for life, and I think that that’s really important.
I want help with my copy, but I don’t want to lose MY voice
I get it! And I don’t want that either. That was a big part of the reason why I created my 1:1 programme; by having a back and forth communication, working together to get clarity on your brand, and really getting to know each other, the resulting copy is going to be all you. Like one of my previous clients said, “Ciara was able to take words out of my head that I didn’t even know were there”. The words are there inside your head, I am just helping to get them out and write them in a way that zings!

Why don’t you have prices for your à la carte options?
The pricing for the individual projects is dependent on the scale of the project and the time frame involved. Some of my à la carte options are only available to clients I have worked with before. Once you let me know what you are looking for, I can get back to you with a quote!
What practical things do I need to know?
I accept payment via Stripe (which allows you to pay via many different ways. You can pay in your currency, whether it’s USD, AUS$, CAD$, EUR, GBP – just not monopoly money, k?).
You can either pay in full after signing our contract or you can pay a 50% deposit upon signing the contract and the remaining 50% before I send you the final deliverables. Please note that in order to cover the additional fees and admin incurred by paying in installments, an additional 5% is added to the price of the package if you choose to pay in installments.
All of our calls will happen using Zoom. This means that even if you’re sipping a margarita on a beach in Mexico and I’m in a cafe in Brussels, we can still chat!
